License Agreement

Jiplet Container is an open-source software that can be used and distributed freely under the terms and conditions of the Apache license.

The Jiplet Container require third-party libraries and packages that have different license agreements. These packages are bundled with the Jiplet Container source and binary packages for ease of installation and configuration. Some of these third-party software are licensed under the terms and conditions of popular open source licenses like Apache, LGPL, GPL, etc. There are other packages that are bundled with the Jiplet Container that are licensed under the terms and conditions of a commercial licenses but are re-distributable.

Please read the following license agreements carefully to ensure that your use of the Jiplet Container package is compliant with the licensing terms and conditions of CafeSip.org and other vendors whose software is bundled into the Jiplet Container package. If you are unable to comply with the license terms and conditions listed below, please remove the software from your computer immediately. Jiplet Container

The software is provided by CafeSip.org. The software is licensed under the terms and conditions of the Apache License. Please read the license agreement by clicking here. 

Java API from XML Binding (JAXB)

The software is provided by Sun Microsystems.  The software package is a part of the  JAVA(TM) WEB SERVICES DEVELOPER PACK (JWSDP), VERSION 1.4. Read the license by clicking here. Jakarta Commons, LOG4J, JSTL and Ant

These packages are provided by the Apache Foundation under the terms and conditions of Apache open-source license. Read the Apache License agreement by clicking here.

Jboss client and server libraries

The software is provided by Jboss and is distributed as per the terms and conditions of the Lesser GNU Public License (LGPL). Read the terms and conditions of use by clicking here. It also includes other open-source components.

JAIN-SIP

The JAIN-SIP implementation included with this distribution is copyrighted by National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST). Click here to read the terms and conditions of the license.

Message Digest Algorithm source code

Copied from the SIP Communicator project originally written by Emil Ivov and modified by others. This software is licensed under the Apache Software license.

JAIN-SIP Presence/Proxy source code

The proxy code included with the jiplet container was originally developed by M. Ranganathan, Olivier Deruelle, Jean Deruelle and Henrik Leion. This code has been significantly modified to work with the jiplet container but it was very helpful to have this code and we thank the developers. The source code is a public domain software. Google Web Toolkit

The Jiplet Console has been created using the Google Web Toolkit.  The bundled software is licensed under the Apache Software license.

Script.Aculo.Us

This javascript library is developed by script.aculo.us.  The software is bundled under the terms and conditions of the MIT License.
