GWTCOMP 0.0.3b released

Introducing Live Charting

June 14, 2008,
Raleigh, NC.

We are pleased to announce the public release of GWTCOMP r0.0.3b. It is a part of the CafeSip common project. In this release we have introduced live charting. These components will be used by CafeSip projects in future releases to create dashboards that display live information. We would like to thank the Timepedia Chronoscope project for developing the basic charting components that we used. We will add more live charting classes in future releases of GWTCOMP. In addition to live charting, we started using GWTCOMP for the SipExchange project and found many issues and as we found these issues, we fixed them. As a result, GWTCOMP is now quite stable and bug-free.

GWT Components (GWTCOMP) is a set of re-usable graphical  and non-graphical components for developing rich web-based applications. GWTCOMP supplements the features and services provided  by the GWT framework.  GWT is a popular framework from Google for developing web-based rich applications. GWTCOMP internally uses GWT and other Javascript and GWT-based libraries. Whereas the GWT framework provide low-level graphical graphical objects for handling basic functions, the GWTCOMP provide more complex graphical objects with more features. These ready-made objects can be used by applications so that the applications do not have to develop these.
