Amit Chatterjee

Amit Chatterjee is the lead for the Jiplet Container, SipExchange and GWTCOMP projects and the maintainer of the Cafesip.org web site. He is an experienced Java and J2EE developer with extensive experience in the telecommunications and software industry. He currently works for GXS at Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. He is also the project lead for Ace Operator - an open-source Contact Center.

He has a M.Sc(hons) degree in Physics and a M.Sc(tech) degree in Instrumentation Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India. He lives in Apex, North Carolina with his wife, two kids and two cats.

Other than developing software, he also enjoys Indian Classical Music, cooking and still photography.

Becky McElroy


Becky McElroy is the team lead for the SipUnit project. She is also a contributor to the Jiplet Container, SipExchange and GWTCOMP projects. She has extensive experience with Java, web-based applications, databases and switch development for the telecommunications and software industry. She currently works for GXS at Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. She is also a major contributor for Ace Operator - an open-source Contact Center project.

Becky has a B.A. degree in Music from University of North Carolina, Greensboro and a B.S. degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University, Raleigh. She lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with her husband and a cat.

Other than developing software, she enjoys playing the banjo and plays in an old-time string band. She also enjoys cooking.
